6 Reasons Some Femmes Fear so much Studs in Dresses – Black Lesbian Love Lab

Who can forget should the Queen “The choice is yours Off”? But we sure wish to see her dress straight down.

It\’s all Queen Latifah\’s fault!

I posted a hand and hand photo of her imitating an upright up hardcore stud in the \”Set it Off\” movie and right beside that, a pic of her looking like an upright up foxy, sultry femme.

Most from the comments that came pouring onto that Facebook post were of females loving to be with her. They loved the Queen in Timbs and T-shirts plus in dresses and heels!

Get that you simply lesbian who can do both, is a popular saying within our community. There are lots of means it\’s really a positive thing to create a woman who could rock masculine and feminine clothes.

But for some people the switching up, no labeling, stem look, weren\’t to them. Listed here are 6 reasons some black lesbians (mostly femmes) informed me they might NEVER date an adaptable woman:

1. Competition

Shaquanna Brinson’s wife, Areaka, submitted this pic of her love mixing it up!

Some femmes simply want to become the pretty one and feel threatened by another girly woman. ?One woman said, \”I\’m femme enough, plus no sharing clothes!\”

2. Limited Purpose of Attraction

Janelle Monae won\’t be boxed in. She plays femme and dapper wonderfully.

Some women said it was pointless to date a woman who dressed and smelled similar to a man! And asked, “Have you thought to simply go acquire a male?”

Another said, \”And I only want someone that’s as soft, sweet smelling, and sexy as myself.\”

One stud said she likes femmes because, \”My baby gotta produce an arch in her back continually, One hundred pc girly-girl!\”

3. Insecurity

Keke Palmer is reportedly filming for the movie (for the left) where she plays a stud, speculate you can see (within the right) ?she is able to rock the high-femme look.

One woman said after she dated women who could dress both ways, \”My attitude changed. I came to be more protective in addition to the provider. Shit, that maybe what I enjoy from the stud. Scared me shitless. Forced me to rethink the complete cause of being a lesbian.\”

4. It\’s confusing

Lonnie Smith runs her own popular Facebook page and is particularly proud to help you rock it either way.

Some women say, mentally they can\’t handle the trunk and forth. They could only date girls who always dressed like studs.

Plus one woman said, she couldn\’t date a lady who switched up because she would question the sexuality of your stud who is able to also look like a femme.

5. It is just season look

Samira Wiley, star of Orange may be the New Black, has mastered the tomboy and femme looks.

One woman said, “I adore my girl as the stud. It\’s ?hella sexy for me – Shoot bae would look so clumsy in heels.\”

And you also have the studs that don\’t think they\’re good like a femmes.

One woman said, \”To me, there’s nothing attractive about my likeness.\”

Another stud said, \”I can pull both looks off, but it really doesn\’t look as soon as I appear to be a gal. I\’m not really a femme.\”

6. Hetero Modeling

It all comes down to heterosexual modeling for some of us. Most femmes who are uncomfortable with a stud who switches up her look, are equally at ease heteronormativity. She\’s been taught she may not be a female ?with no masculine opposite. Without ying to her yang, she gets off balance and unclear about her place on the femme-butch spectrum.

And for your studs who exclusively date femmes, they tend to get ladies who know and have playing their part in those gender roles.
